Job Description:

The Tenancy Manager will have responsibility for providing tenancy management services to individuals and whānau who live or stay in CMM housing in Ōtautahi. The Tenancy Manager will have a role in coordinating the maintenance and repairs of the properties to maintain a good standard of housing. The tenancy manager will also manage the transitional housing portfolio and the relationship CMM has with the property owners.

Job Responsibility:

  • experience within Aotearoa’s social housing sector or willingness to learn
  • solid understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 or motivation to develop it
  • experience working alongside Community, Iwi/Māori, Pacific organisations and people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • skilled in administration and digital tools
  • clear and confident communicator
  • committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice
  • self-manage, prioritise effectively, work collaboratively and confidentially within a team
  • hold a full, clean driver’s licence
