Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Staff Accountant to support a Tulsa-based organization during a short-term assignment expected to last 2–8 weeks. This position will play an important role in assisting the accounting team with daily financial operations, including account reconciliations, reviewing approvals, and pulling financial data. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform account reconciliations and review supporting documentation
  • Pull and compile financial data for reporting and internal review
  • Assist with reviewing and tracking financial approvals and transactions
  • Support general accounting tasks, including journal entries and account analysis
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Assist the accounting team with additional projects as needed during the assignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Prior Staff Accountant or general accounting experience required
  • Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting support
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Tulsa, OK for the duration of the assignment

Nice to have

  • Sage Intacct experience is a plus
  • Non-profit accounting experience preferred
