Are you an experienced administrator looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Senior Administrator to join a well-known manufacturing business! You will be supporting the Buying and Purchasing team. This experience isn't essential but a bonus if you have worked in similar roles before!
Job Responsibility:
Provide senior‑level administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and team
Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP/MRP systems (pricing, supplier info, lead times)
Prepare purchasing reports and documentation for reviews and audits
Coordinate with suppliers on queries, documentation, and performance issues
Support buyers with quotes, cost comparisons, and purchase requisition processing
Manage purchase orders and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Assist with supplier on-boarding and maintenance of compliance records
Identify improvements to purchasing processes and administrative workflows
Requirements:
Experienced administrator, preferably in buying and purchasing/ manufacturing business
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
Nice to have:
Experience in buying and purchasing/ manufacturing business
