Job Description

We are seeking a Temporary HR Administrator to support the HR operations in our vibrant school located in Peterborough. This is a temporary role to start immediately, paying £14.00-£15.00 per hour DOE.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR function
  • Maintain accurate staff records, including contracts and absence records
  • Support recruitment processes: advert posting, shortlisting, and interview coordination
  • Manage DBS checks and assist with onboarding of new starters
  • Process payroll changes for starters, leavers, and contractual updates
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and statutory requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR or administration (school experience is a plus!)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Able to start immediately for a temporary through through to July
