Job Description:

The Caretaker at Nirvana Managed Services is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of school facilities across Chester, North Wales, Wirral, and Manchester. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Caretaker performs routine cleaning, conducts proactive property inspections, and responds promptly to maintenance needs, contributing to the overall functionality and positive experience of site users. By upholding health and safety standards and demonstrating reliability and professionalism, the Caretaker supports the seamless operation of managed educational facilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards
  • Report maintenance and repair needs promptly to supervisors or the maintenance team
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to requests or concerns from visitors, staff, or residents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in caretaking, janitorial, or maintenance roles
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment
