Job Description:

The Caretaker at Nirvana Managed Services plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational integrity of assigned school facilities across Chester, North Wales, Wirral, and Manchester. This position ensures a welcoming, well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors by combining routine cleaning, proactive maintenance, and responsive service. The Caretaker is instrumental in upholding health and safety standards, supporting facility functionality, and contributing to the overall positive experience of site users.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards
  • Report maintenance and repair needs promptly to supervisors or the maintenance team
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to requests or concerns from visitors, staff, or residents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in caretaking, janitorial, or maintenance roles
