  • Independently develops sophisticated diagnostic formulations, implements evidence-based interventions, and utilizes validated measurement tools to assess treatment response
  • Routinely collaborates with others in the healthcare team and a variety of disciplines (medicine, surgery, nursing, care management, mental health counseling) to identify high-risk patients with behavioral health and medical comorbidities, and facilitates access to other specialty psychiatric and substance use care as needed
  • Independently and with considerable latitude for autonomous judgment performs complex psychosocial assessments and diagnostic formulations for patients and their families when indicated
  • Ensures the development and implementation of comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for patients with clearly defined therapeutic goals
