Our client in Langford, BC, is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to assist their team from mid-March to mid-May. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule of approximately two days per week (Monday and Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility for shorter days if preferred), followed by full-time coverage for a few weeks in May. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional office setting, supporting a dynamic team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, client interactions, phone management, document scanning, and data entry.
Job Responsibility:
Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages
Handling basic bookkeeping tasks (petty cash)
Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
Helping prepare for meetings
Requirements:
Proven experience in a reception/admin environment
In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite
High school diploma
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
Professional level verbal and written communications skills
