We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a temporary ongoing Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term temporary assignment with an immediate start. The Role: Working as part of the finance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier invoices while supporting the wider purchase ledger function.
Job Responsibility
Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers
Preparing payment runs
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administration
Requirements
Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
The ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and a proactive approach
Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
