Job Description:

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Temporary Project & Estimating Administrator to support a busy painting and decorating company in Grays. This role blends site-based estimating with essential administrative duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records
Manage email correspondence and schedule meetings/site visits
Track tender deadlines and submission statuses
Update internal databases and CRM systems with project and client information
Support invoicing, purchase orders, and budget tracking
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes and documentation
Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
Provide general office support to the estimating and project teams
Preparing cost estimates for materials, labour, and other project expenses
Gathering and analysing data related to project costs
Assisting with the preparation of bid proposals
Maintaining accurate records of cost estimates and related data

Requirements:

Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Experience in estimating or construction admin is a plus
Comfortable using digital tools and software
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
