Our client, a dynamic organisation based in Guildford, is seeking a Temporary Payroll Specialist to join their team for a 3-month contract starting on April 13, 2026. This full-time role offers an hourly rate between £18.00 and £23.00 and allows for a blend of office, but mostly remote work, making it an ideal fit for those seeking work-life balance!

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee Payroll Software: Ensure accurate data entry and processing in payroll systems, troubleshooting any software issues alongside IT or vendors
  • Design Payroll Processes: Lead the creation and delivery of payroll processes tailored to assigned countries, ensuring compliance with local legislation
  • Complex Queries: Serve as an escalation point for intricate payroll queries, providing expert guidance and support to stakeholders at all levels
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend improvements to payroll processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Audit Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation for payroll audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure adherence to standards
