Job Description:

Citadel Source is delighted to be working with a well-established client in the City Centre, who is seeking a Temporary Payroll/Benefits Assistant. This role is initially offered on a 3-month contract basis; however, for the right candidate, there is potential for the position to be extended or to become permanent.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the development and implementation of benefits policies
  • Liaise with providers
  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager and Offshore team to ensure benefits are processed accurately and on time through payroll
  • Manage employee benefits queries and escalations
  • Support the Payroll Manager with benefits administration and provider relationships
  • Process benefits registrations, changes and leavers
  • Act as a key contact for internal and external benefits queries
  • Maintain benefits documentation and procedures
  • Support benefits communications and renewals
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Assist with overpayments reporting and recovery

Requirements:

  • Immediately available or able to start at very short notice
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory calculations
  • Experience with salary sacrifice schemes in line with HMRC rules
  • Familiarity with company and auto-enrolment pensions, including reconciliation and payments
