Job Description

Temporary Operations Administrator to support a busy and professional office environment in central Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and document processing skills who enjoys working in a varied role.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and manage outgoing correspondence including letters, reports, presentations, and other business documents
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, well-formatted, and aligned with internal standards
  • Create visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
  • Provide professional reception cover during lunch breaks and holidays, welcoming visitors and managing front-of-house duties
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, meeting room bookings, and catering arrangements
  • Support with general administrative tasks including data entry, diary coordination, and ad hoc project support

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a professional and presentable manner
  • Previous experience in an office-based administrative role
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
