Job Description:

Our client, a premier multi-disciplinary clinic in London, is seeking a Temporary Medical Receptionist to provide exceptional service and support to both patients and healthcare professionals. This is a chance to be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on world-class expertise and a commitment to patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and assist all visitors with a warm, professional demeanour
  • Register patients accurately in the Electronic Patient Record system
  • Maintain a smart appearance and uphold a courteous atmosphere at all times
  • Record patient details and the purpose of visits, communicating this information promptly to the relevant team members
  • Ensure timely assessments by nursing staff prior to consultations, notifying each practitioner of awaiting patients
  • Support patients throughout their journey in the clinic, keeping them informed of the next steps in their care
  • Action Request Forms for testing and diagnostics as directed by consultants
  • Promote our client's services, especially in-house offerings such as Pharmacy services
  • Collect valuable feedback and marketing intelligence from patients
  • Collect all billing information and patient consents, both in-person and via telephone
  • Prepare invoices and quotes accurately and promptly, processing payments efficiently
  • Ensure timely billing and collection of patient accounts in line with established protocols

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in patient record management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
  • A professional appearance and attitude that reflects our client's commitment to excellence
  • Previous experience in a medical reception or similar role is a plus but not essential
