A boutique antitrust and complex litigation law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Temporary Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to provide immediate onsite coverage to support filings, document formatting, and trial preparation during a transition period. This role is 100% onsite and is ideal for a litigation support professional who can step in quickly and contribute in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, format, and file litigation documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with local and judge-specific rules
Handle e-filing and filing-ready document preparation, including pleadings, exhibits, TOCs/TOAs, PDF assembly, bookmarking, and proofs of service
Support trial and deposition preparation, including exhibit organization, binder preparation, and coordination of materials
Assist with litigation calendaring and deadline tracking
Provide general litigation support to attorneys and paralegals across active matters
Requirements:
3+ years of litigation support experience preferred
Prior experience in a law firm or litigation-focused environment
Strong Microsoft Word formatting skills and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with state and federal court filing procedures and litigation calendaring tools
Ability to work onsite five days per week and start quickly
