Our client, a law firm, is seeking an IP Litigation Case Assistant to support its Intellectual Property Litigation team in a fast-paced, professional services environment. This is a temporary role (3+ months) with potential to convert to permanent, paying $26/hour, with a 35-hour work week (9:00 AM-5:00 PM). The position is onsite in Boston, MA. Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative and case support to IP Litigation attorneys and legal specialists
Assist with case management, document production, discovery, and trial preparation
Prepare engagement letters, conflicts checks, and manage client intake processes
Maintain calendars, track deadlines, and organize case-related materials and databases
Coordinate discovery materials, depositions, transcripts, vendors, and trial logistics
Prepare filings, perform cite-checking and blue booking, and compile exhibits and appendices
Support trial preparation including exhibits, notebooks, binders, and war room setup
Communicate with clients, vendors, and government agencies as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
1+ year of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or legal setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Interest in growing into a paralegal or related legal role
Professional, proactive, and customer-service oriented with high integrity
