Job Responsibility

Decontaminate laboratory waste and discard to outside bins
Sterilise and wash up used glassware and equipment
Make deliveries to, and collect from laboratories and 'Goods In'
Prepare and sterilise media
Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment as detailed in the Business Management System (BMS), including performing housekeeping duties in the CPU area
Follow procedures detailed in the BMS
Record and keep accurate records of work done and all appropriate laboratory information and results using the appropriate forms
Other reasonable duties required by CPU & Procurement Manager
