Job Description:

A Laboratory Incubator Space in Glasgow, Scotland are currently seeking a Lab Technician to join them immediately on initially a temporary basis for 3 months , with the possibility of extending or going permanent. The Laboratory space houses multiple tenants across various Labs; your responsibilities will ensure the smooth operation of these Labs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee maintenance and refilling of liquid nitrogen and gas cylinders
  • Ordering and storage of consumables
  • Maintenance of Water Purification System
  • Support Tenants of the Laboratories and act as an intermediary to facilitate external support (i.e from maintenance engineers)
  • Oversee and maintain adherence to Health and Safety requirements
  • Monitoring and calibrating PH Meters

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar Lab Technician or Lab Support Role
  • Experience handling Liquid Nitrogen and Gas Cylinders
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Manual Handling capability
  • Must be available to begin Immediately Glasgow, Scotland
