Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide first-line ICT support to staff and students, ensuring smooth operations
  • Maintain IT rooms and equipment, keeping everything in up to date
  • Keep software/hardware inventories updated and accurate
  • Manage helpdesk calls and respond independently to IT issues
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new and existing software
  • Develop and maintain recording systems for ICT usage
  • Support staff presentations with technical assistance
  • Commission, maintain, and repair electronic systems and AV equipment in compliance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Conduct portable appliance testing in accordance with health and safety legislation
  • Pursue continuous professional development and share insights with your colleagues
  • Always adhere to trust policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an ICT Technician or in a school environment is preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are a must
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital systems
  • Professional, calm, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
