Temporary HR Administrator role for 12 months, based in Hull. Key responsibilities include HR administration, recruitment & onboarding, training & development, and reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate employee records (paper & digital)
Produce HR letters, documents, and correspondence
Schedule meetings and take minutes when needed
Handle filing, scanning, post, photocopying & general admin
Support the HR inbox and escalate queries
Liaise with external services (DBS, Occupational Health)
Create and post job adverts
Prepare interview packs & respond to applicant queries
Process new starter paperwork, ID checks & compliance
Draft contracts & ensure all pre-employment checks are completed
Set up new starters on HR systems
Track and monitor probation periods
Maintain & update training records
Produce simple training reports
Assist in organising training sessions & events
Collect absence, sickness, starter/leaver data
Assist with monthly HR reporting
Produce basic HR system reports when required
Requirements:
Knowledge or exposure in a HR Administration position
High attention to detail and accuracy
IT literate - confident using Excel, Outlook, and CRM/HR systems
