Job Responsibility:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty on- and off-road equipment
Accurately complete work orders and ensure billing aligns with Acden MRM standards
Work closely with the Lead Hand to manage service requests and ensure timely job completion
Train, support, and mentor apprentices
Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed
Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times and attend required safety meetings
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work areas
Follow ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 procedures, including reporting non-conformances
Participate in customer satisfaction efforts and quality assurance processes
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Journeyperson Heavy Duty Technician certification (Red Seal or Alberta Trade Qualification)
Proven experience in diagnostics and repairs of heavy-duty equipment
Strong understanding of workplace safety and OH&S guidelines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills
Physically fit to handle the demands of the job (e.g., lifting, bending, standing, climbing)
Strong computer literacy, including diagnostic and reporting tools
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
Willingness to follow all Acden MRM policies, procedures, and ISO standards
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Nice to have:
Experience working in a dealership or third-party maintenance environment
Previous customer service or public-facing maintenance experience
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Licence with Air Brakes
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems
Previous experience working with Acden MRM or similar operations
Involvement in promoting or supporting customer satisfaction surveys
