We are seeking a talented and creative Temporary Graphic Thumbnail Designer to craft visually compelling YouTube thumbnails that drive click-through rates and viewer engagement. This designer will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of content across channels by translating ideas and storylines into high-impact images that stand out in a crowded digital space.
Job Responsibility:
Design eye-catching, high-impact thumbnails for YouTube videos to increase CTR and engagement
Collaborate closely with video editors, content creators, and the marketing team to align on messaging and audience targeting
Translate video concepts and emotional beats into compelling visual designs
Experiment with different styles, layouts, and text treatments to optimize performance
Maintain brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries
Stay current on YouTube design trends, best practices, and algorithm updates
Organize and manage thumbnail assets and design templates for efficiency
Requirements:
1+ year of experience designing YouTube thumbnails or social media graphics (portfolio required)
Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools
Strong understanding of digital design principles: color theory, contrast, composition, and typography
Ability to communicate emotion and storytelling visually to drive clicks
Basic understanding of how YouTube analytics tie into thumbnail performance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to accept and apply feedback constructively
Strong attention to detail and time management skills to meet rapid content deadlines
Nice to have:
