Job Description:

A manufacturing company in Glenview is looking for a temporary Customer Service Representative to join their team. This could be a potential full-time role. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and sales reps- answering questions, resolving issues, entering quotes, and making every experience a positive one. Job Responsibility:

  • Process requests from Inside Sales Accounts
  • Process quotes when needed
  • Customer support / follow up
  • Work with internal stakeholders to maximize Customer satisfaction and sales
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships and through regular contact and timely follow-up
  • Outbound calling to current and prospective customers to build sales pipeline and close new business
  • Schedule Quarterly Reviews with top Customers
  • Track monthly, quarterly & yearly revenues
  • Interact with Sales team on basic field needs
  • Assist customer service team when needed
  • Fill out or assist with customer required forms for company details (quality, regulatory other)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years customer service and/or inside sales experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Financial & Business acumen
  • Knowledge of business-to-business sales process and procedures
  • Work independently with limited direction
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers
  • Familiarity with sales tool technology such as CRM, Cognos and business software
