Office Angels are excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients in Glasgow, who are currently seeking a Temporary Claims Administrator to support their team for an initial period of up to three months. This is a key role within the business, providing essential claims and administrative support while assisting the wider team. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, professional environment and broaden their administrative skill set.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle inbound customer enquiries, accurately capturing and updating information in line with claims procedures
  • Open, maintain, and update claims files efficiently and compliantly
  • Provide clear guidance to customers on the claims process and next steps
  • Deliver consistently high standards of customer service via telephone and email
  • Transfer calls to relevant departments and arrange callbacks where required
  • Create follow-up actions, diary notes, and task reminders to ensure timely case progression
  • Arrange appointments and coordinate information between internal teams
  • Liaise professionally with clients and third-party organisations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Previous experience with claims, or utilities is desirable
  • Strong IT skills with confidence using multiple systems especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work accurately at pace while managing competing priorities
  • Positive, flexible attitude with a strong customer-focused approach
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
