Our client, a well-established company in the North Saanich, BC, area, is seeking a highly organized, self-starting individual for a temporary Assistant Role. This dynamic position requires a mix of physical labour/logistics and administrative support and is ideal for someone comfortable working independently. The role is split approximately 60% General Labour/Logistics and 40% Administrative support.
Job Responsibility:
Fulfilling store orders
Shipping and receiving stock
Inventory management
General organizing of materials
Shipping promotional items
Processing expenses
Finding and booking hotels
Setting up events
Searching for and coordinating vendors
General organizational tasks (organizational skills are key)
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Proficient in basic computer use and Microsoft Suite
Knowledge of Shopify is essential
Highly organized, self-starter, quick on their feet, and independent problem solver who requires minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills, knowing when to ask questions
Must be able to handle physical tasks, including lifting and managing items, specifically promotional materials in boxes (up to 50 lbs)
