This temporary position is intended to provide interim support during a leave of absence. The role performs day-to-day People & Culture operations and supports the implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures. Duties are aligned with the existing Assistant People & Culture Manager role and may be adjusted based on business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Candidate recruitment, screening and interviewing
Hiring & onboarding activities of new hires
Manage the daily operations of the P&C Office
Communication to staff via flyers, boards and social media
Maintain employment files and other records
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors while maintaining the confidentiality of People & Culture
Organize and supervise employee events such as receptions, town halls, holiday parties
Help ensure that the cafe, employee entrance and lockers rooms are clean/orderly
Launching corporate initiatives to Hotel
Project work such as our ongoing initiative Diversity Inclusion & Belonging
Lead communication to staff on important company-wide projects and events
Assist and follow up with employees regarding their questions and inquires
Track and follow up on Certifications
Support with the P&C email box
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Requirements:
Candidate must be able to thrive in a fluid environment, with a spirit for serving our internal guests (our employees)
Fluent in English and Spanish preferred, in order to serve the vast majority of our internal guests
Skilled at Microsoft Office programs, Canva (or similar application), and has the ability to quickly learn our Human Resources Information System (Workday)

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
