We're recruiting a Temporary Administrator to support a well‑established charity based in the NG5 area for an initial 4-5 week period. This role has become available to provide extra support while the organisation dual-runs two different internal systems. The local teams have recently moved onto a new system, but invoicing and payroll are still processed on the old system, meaning information needs to be checked and cross‑referenced between the two. Because of this, the charity needs an extra pair of hands and someone who is IT-savvy, confident handling Excel and data, and able to pick things up quickly.
Job Responsibility:
Basic data entry using Excel
General administration support to the wider team
Assisting with cross‑checking information between two systems (old and new)
Helping the team keep records accurate and up to date
Supporting with simple documentation and filing tasks
Providing ad‑hoc support where needed during the dual‑running period
Requirements:
Previous administration experience - essential
Confident using Excel (sorting, filtering, basic spreadsheets)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Someone tech‑savvy who can quickly understand new systems/processes
Reliable, organised, and able to manage repetitive data tasks
A friendly, supportive approach suited to a charity environment
