Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is looking for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. Job Responsibility:
Invoice Management: Send invoices to Dext for processing
Ensure all invoices have valid Purchase Orders (POs) prior to processing
Manage the supplier email inbox and coordinate invoice approvals
Liaise with headquarters to obtain Statements of Accounts (SOA) and confirm all invoices are recorded
Respond promptly to internal and external invoice-related queries
Revolut Transactions: Review Revolut expenditure, ensuring correct coding and VAT treatment before approval
Ensure all monthly Revolut transactions are coded and approved by Day 3 of month-end
Handle and resolve Revolut-related queries efficiently
PO Administration: Raise ad hoc Purchase Orders as required
Set up new suppliers through headquarters
Monitor PO status, process approvals, and respond to all PO-related queries
Bank Queries: Work collaboratively with headquarters to resolve bank-related issues
Ensure all payments are allocated accurately to support smooth financial operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
