This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based at Saunderton Lodge, Buckinghamshire Councils purpose-built Temporary Accommodation setting. This role offers real fulfilment in a fast paced, front-line setting. The role involves some light manual handling to help prepare void units for new occupants.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for all processes and matters associated with the Council’s Temporary Accommodation, with a primary focus on Bridge Court
managing void units
working closely with our facilities team to ensure timely turnaround
assisting the officer in charge with all aspects of health and safety compliance for the building
performing minor maintenance duties on site
housing teams ‘go to’ person in all matters relating to Temporary Accommodation placements for Saunderton Lodge
support to all placements to help ensure compliance with licence agreements and support plans
work closely with our benefits teams and providers to protect the council financially
work with the wider housing team to ensure that placements are appropriate
undertaking of affordability and suitability assessments
