Our client, a mission-driven non-profit organization based in New York City, is seeking a Temp-to-Perm HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role supporting the Senior Director of HR & Administration in a small, collaborative department. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, required
3+ years of well-rounded Human Resources experience, required
Strong recruitment experience, including screening, interviewing, and full-cycle hiring, required
Small company experience, required
Non-profit experience, strongly preferred
Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, and compliance
Understanding of multi-state employment compliance, required
Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and presentation skills
comfortable facilitating trainings and orientations
