Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in Oklahoma City. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. Candidates with Oil & Gas industry experience and QuickBooks knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibility

  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and timely
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with daily financial tracking
  • Manage bill payments for multiple entities
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial and customer data records
  • Make outbound calls to gather and verify important information
  • Answer inbound calls and provide professional customer service
  • Draft and send email correspondence with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Schedule appointments and assist with calendar management
  • Support general administrative duties as needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Requirements

  • Previous accounting clerk, bookkeeping, or administrative accounting experience required
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
