We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in Oklahoma City. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. Candidates with Oil & Gas industry experience and QuickBooks knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibility:
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and timely
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with daily financial tracking
Manage bill payments for multiple entities
Enter and maintain accurate financial and customer data records
Make outbound calls to gather and verify important information
Answer inbound calls and provide professional customer service
Draft and send email correspondence with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Schedule appointments and assist with calendar management
Support general administrative duties as needed
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Requirements:
Previous accounting clerk, bookkeeping, or administrative accounting experience required
QuickBooks experience preferred
Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
