Job Description

Temp Finance Manager role for a charity that aims to help keep women and children safe, empowering women through support and advice to secure accommodation and move on to independent living, free from abuse and fear. This is a full-time, temporary role (4-8 weeks). *Due to the sensitive nature of this role we will be considering female applicants only for this post in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to schedule 9 part 1).

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the finance and administration manager with daily finance operations
  • Oversee the financial controls procedures
  • Ensure that policy and expectations are clear
  • Maintain the financial records for all income and expenditure streams
  • Ensure the timely and accurate production of month end accounts, reconciliations and reporting from SAGE

Requirements

  • Experienced finance professional accustomed to working in a small busy finance function
  • Excellent financial transactional and bookkeeping experience
  • Previous experience of creating and implementing financial procedures and policies
  • Experience of devising and implementing systems improvements
