As a Citizens Teller - YOU make a real difference for our customers and the branch team. Our Tellers are the face of Citizens. Our best Tellers think from a relationship standpoint versus a transactional one, have a willingness to learn, and take responsibility for a customer.
Job Responsibility:
Greet customers in our lobbies
Demonstrate how to use our mobile app, or our ATMs, to complete simple transactions
Create amazing experiences for our customers, looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their needs
Connect customers to our Bankers for the next step
Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and effectively respond to questions and/or concerns
Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations
Requirements:
High School degree or GED
Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
Strong listening and communication skills
Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link
Nice to have:
1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
