Job Description:

Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) position in Wells Fargo's National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience, building relationships, and helping customers succeed financially through appropriate products and services.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience
Build relationships through proactive outreach
Propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts
Complete service requests
Submit credit applications
Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints

Requirements:

6+ months of interacting with customers experience
Equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
SAFE registration at time of employment
Compliance with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008
Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
Acceptable background investigation results
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Ability to maintain cash drawer and handle cash balancing

Nice to have:

Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Somali/English
Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
Ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions
Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
