We’re seeking two talented Telephone Account Managers (TAMs) to join our thriving Intermediaries department—a fast-growing channel managing over £25bn in assets and driving innovation at RBC Brewin Dolphin. As a TAM, you’ll be at the forefront of our success, working closely with local offices, Investment Managers, and Business Development Managers to promote our cutting-edge solutions: Discretionary Fund Management, MPS services, and Voyager (Unitised solutions). You will build lasting partnerships with intermediaries, uncover new business opportunities, and contribute to our ambitious asset growth targets. We’re looking for someone with proven sales success in a phone-based/remote sales role within financial services, with a track record of exceeding targets and driving business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Drive Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed financial goals while fostering sustainable, profitable relationships
Build Connections: Prospect and onboard new intermediaries, becoming their trusted business consultant
Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with BDMs, Sales Support, and Investment Teams to align on regional goals and deliver exceptional service
Stay Ahead: Keep pace with market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices (like Consumer Duty) to position RBC Brewin Dolphin as an industry leader
Make an Impact: Support seminars, campaigns, and follow-ups to boost brand awareness and market share
Requirements:
Level 4 qualification (e.g., CISI, CII, or equivalent) or as a minimum have made significant progress toward it, demonstrating commitment to professional development
Exceptional relationship management skills—ability to build trust, foster long-term partnerships, and deliver client-centric solutions
Strong communication skills—confident in presenting complex ideas, active listening, and adapting messaging to diverse stakeholders (verbal and written)
Technical proficiency—competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn new systems quickly
Time management and organisational skills—proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage pipelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability and market awareness—experience navigating regulatory changes, industry trends, and evolving client needs
Collaborative mindset—success in partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Support, Investment Teams) to align on shared goals
Problem-solving and consulting skills—ability to act as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions to intermediaries
