Job Description:

Telepharmacy Technician responsible for daily pharmacy operations with Pharmacist oversight from separate Supervising Pharmacy location. Focused on managing day-to-day operations, execution, and performance while delivering operational and service excellence. Operates as part of pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures and effective communication.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee safe and secure operation of Remote Dispensing Pharmacy
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations
Complete controlled substance prescription fulfillment tasks
Contribute to positive patient experiences with empathy and care
Complete inventory activities as directed
Serve as peer mentor for new hires
Understand and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Support immunizations where permissible

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
If state board does not mandate minimum age, must be at least 18 years of age
If state board does not mandate minimum education, must have high school diploma or equivalent
National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
State-level licensure requirements vary by state
1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician
CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus abilities

Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution skills
Physical demands including mobility, lifting, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv)
Ability to become immunization certified
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Experience in Inventory Specialist role
Ability to work across market locations
