Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Telemetry Monitor Technician monitors and accurately interprets cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment. Provides continuous observation and identifies basic arrhythmias. Provides prompt notification of changes/issues or dysrhythmia to the RN or Physician as they occur. Troubleshoots false alarms and system /equipment issues. Documents values and mounts rhythm strips according to unit standards. Also provides continuous observation of the patients who are being monitored during special procedures.

Requirements
Minimum one year experience monitoring cardiac activity
Electrocardiography (ECG) Certification by time of hire
Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays
