Job Responsibility:

Continuously observes the telemetry monitor and reports any unusual changes

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic arrhythmias or previous experience
  • OR education in basic arrhythmias
  • One year acute hospital experience
  • Previous related experience
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must have the dexterity, coordination, and visual and auditory acuity to perform all job responsibilities
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be free from signs of illness and infections
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

  • Ensure all study activities/procedures (during screening and clinical procedures) are completed on schedule and in accordance with the protocol, the FDA and the IRB requirements
  • Perform non-medical activities such as distribution of scrubs, locks, DVDs, movies, games, front desk tasks (screening centre) etc
  • Monitor subject safety
  • Report equipment malfunctions and may assist with specified equipment maintenance and stocking of supplies
