Job Description:

We are looking for a highly competent and safety-conscious Telehandler Operator to support a civil engineering project in the Morpeth area. You will be responsible for the safe movement of materials across a busy site, supporting groundworks gangs, and ensuring the efficient logistics of the project. As this is a civils environment, the role involves more than just moving pallets; you will be expected to assist with precise placements near excavations and infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

Material Handling: Loading and unloading deliveries and distributing materials (pipes, kerbs, rebar, shuttering) across the site
Groundwork Support: Assisting groundworkers by moving equipment and materials to specific work areas on rough or uneven terrain
Suspended Loads: Executing lifts using chains or slings (where qualified) for drainage and structural components
Maintenance: Performing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining a clean, operational machine

Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (A17D or equivalent)
CPCS/NPORS must carry the CSCS Logo
A17E endorsement for Suspended Loads (preferred)
Valid Safety Critical Medical certificate
Proven experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure sites
Local to Morpeth or able to commute reliably for an 07:30 start
