Job Description:

Job Opportunity: Telehandler Operator (Holiday Cover). We are seeking an experienced and professional Telehandler Operator for a short-term contract in Burton-on-Trent. This role is providing essential holiday cover on a busy, fast-paced residential housing site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely transporting materials (bricks, blocks, timber, etc.) across the site to support various trades
  • Efficiently managing deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly
  • Operating the machine in a safe manner, adhering to site speed limits and pedestrian management plans
  • Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on the telehandler

Requirements:

  • CPCS Blue Card (Competent Operator)
  • NPORS (With CSCS Logo)
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, High-vis, Steel toe boots)
  • Proven experience working on housing sites
  • Reliable transport to the Burton-on-Trent area
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with the Site Manager and subcontractors
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
