Job Description

Randstad is currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Telescopic Handler Operator for a busy housing development project in Kettering. This is a crucial short-term cover role, and we need someone who can hit the ground running.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely loading and unloading deliveries of building materials
  • Transporting materials (bricks, blocks, trusses) across the site to support bricklayers and groundworkers
  • Assisting the Site Manager with general site logistics and housekeeping
  • Strictly adhering to health and safety regulations on-site

Requirements

  • A valid CPCS or NPORS card (Telescopic Handler ticket)
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe cap boots)
  • Proven experience operating a telehandler on a residential/housing construction site
  • Excellent reliability-because this is a short 4-day cover, 100% attendance is essential
  • Two checkable work references
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
