Job Description:

The Telecommunications Analyst II supports the Disconnect Coordination Team (DCT) and is responsible for the end‑to‑end execution and financial realization of approved telecom disconnect activities. This role focuses on submitting and managing disconnect orders through Tangoe TEM, tracking orders to completion, ensuring inventory and billing systems are accurately updated, and validating that cost savings are fully realized and reflected in enterprise reporting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute approved telecom disconnect activities from initiation through completion
  • Submit and manage disconnect orders through Tangoe TEM
  • Track disconnect orders to completion and resolve issues that impact execution timelines
  • Ensure telecom inventory and billing systems are accurately updated following disconnects
  • Validate realized savings and confirm cost reductions are properly captured in reporting tools
  • Support accurate financial reporting by ensuring disconnect activity aligns with approved savings targets
  • Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and provide regular status updates
  • Manage the full lifecycle of telecom disconnect orders, including submission, tracking, completion, and validation
  • Maintain accurate records within Tangoe TEM, inventory systems, and billing platforms
  • Reconcile disconnect activity against invoices and inventory to confirm billing cessation
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to disconnect execution or billing
  • Analyze data to confirm savings realization and support financial reporting
  • Document actions, outcomes, and issues in designated tracking and reporting tools
  • Coordinate timelines and execution activities to ensure approved actions are completed as planned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications analysis, disconnect coordination, or a comparable telecom role
  • Hands‑on experience with legacy telecommunications services, including: Analog dial tone
  • Legacy data circuits
  • Strong understanding of telecom billing, invoicing, and inventory management
  • Experience managing disconnect orders and tracking completion through a TEM platform (Tangoe preferred)
  • Proven ability to analyze data and validate realization of cost savings
