Job Description

Our client, a leading telecom provider, is currently in need of a Deployment Manager for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. The consultant will be working remotely to lead the client’s deployment and install teams by helping to plan, coordinate and ensure operational readiness of EF&I (Engineer, Furnish and Install) deployment projects. They will have a number of deployment coordinators rolling up to them and will be a point of escalation for their technicians.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of telecom related deployment management experience
  • Central Office experience is highly preferred (AT&T, Lumen, Verizon, Comcast)
  • Experience supporting day-to-day activities of multiple services projects in North America
  • Ability to manage large technician teams and deployment coordinators including interviewing, scheduling and coordinating w/ service partners to ensure delivery of projects
  • Conduct and support technician interviews, onboarding and overall performance tracking
  • Experience forecasting demand and making sure deployments are staffed appropriately
  • Experience providing detailed field activity reports to senior leadership
  • Hands on deployment and install experience in the field
