Job Description

Purpose of the Job The Telemarketer at Aramex will play a key role in driving the sales pipeline by making outbound calls to potential clients. The main objective is to promote products/services, schedule meetings, and generate qualified leads for the sales team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to persuade and influence customers. Job Description Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers, introducing company products/services and answering queries. Qualify leads through engaging conversations, identifying customer needs, and forwarding high-potential prospects to the sales team for follow-up. Stay updated with the latest product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate benefits to customers. Log customer interactions and lead details into the CRM system, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate. Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly call targets and lead generation quotas as set by the Commercial Team Lead. Gather and report customer feedback, market intelligence, and industry trends to support continuous product/service improvement. Consistently follow up with interested prospects to nurture them until they are ready for a sales handoff. Work closely with the commercial team to develop scripts, strategies, and promotional campaigns that align with business objectives. Ensure adherence to telemarketing best practices and relevant regulations (e.g., data protection laws).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus
  • Prior experience in telemarketing, sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to work with CRM systems and telemarketing software
  • Goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Ability to handle rejections and maintain motivation

  • Evaluate system alarms and irregularities, taking corrective action as outlined in established guidelines
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of EDPR NA real-time generation information being tele-metered to RTO/ISO
  • Call-out field and emergency service personnel when appropriate
  • Direct electrical substation switching at EDPR NA facilities using a detailed understanding of the Company’s electrical switching practices
  • Ensure turbine and substation data integrity for internal databases used for reporting purposes
  • Use OEM SCADA (Original Equipment Manufacturer Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) to control the real and reactive power of the 5 unique types of turbines now in use
