Job Description:

We are looking for a Telco Cloud Platform Consultant to join a highly specialized technical team, supporting a key international Client in the Telco industry. The resource will be responsible for guiding the evolution of the Telco Cloud Platform, supporting architectural decisions, roadmap definition, and delivery of cloudified telecom services across multiple countries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide technical leadership on Telco Cloud Platform hosting VNF, CNF, and PNF workloads for 4G/5G Mobile Data, Mobile and Fixed Voice services
  • Act as Technical Design Authority for internal teams, offering direction and day-to-day support on technology architecture and delivery
  • Contribute to RFP processes and Technical Proof of Concept (TPOC) evaluations, identifying strengths and weaknesses of vendor solutions
  • Support roadmap definition across On-Prem hardware, Public Cloud integration, IaaS/CaaS layers, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with vendors to align their product roadmaps with platform requirements
  • Author technical documentation, RFP artefacts, and architectural presentations
  • Drive discussions on Telco cloud networking architecture (underlay/overlay) and high-availability deployments
  • Support OSS/BSS integration via loosely coupled architectures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Telco Cloud Platforms supporting 4G/5G Core and Voice services
  • Deep understanding of virtualization (OpenStack), containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS EKS, RedHat OCP)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Concourse) and ETSI MANO standards
  • Knowledge of NFV orchestration platforms (e.g. Nokia NCOM, NCD) and ability to integrate into custom orchestration stacks
  • Strong grasp of public cloud technologies, preferably AWS
  • Expertise in Telco cloud networking design and delivery
  • Experience deploying network functions as highly available and resilient services
  • Knowledge of integrating OSS/BSS systems in complex IT/Telco environments
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Initiative-driven and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and handle dynamic technical contexts
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Kafka, API Gateway, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix
  • Experience working with hybrid environments and infrastructure modernization projects
  • Cloud and network certifications (AWS, Red Hat, CNCF, Cisco, etc.)
  • Experience with NFV/SDN, security, and cloud automation frameworks
  • Availability for occasional national/international travel
