Shape the Future of Connected Systems as a TechOps Engineer. Are you a highly skilled technical professional ready to bridge the gap between complex software solutions and seamless operations? As a TechOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and deployment of Application solutions on hosted and on-premise customer servers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide critical technical expertise, troubleshooting assistance, and vital user support during the deployment process.
Job Responsibility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design deployment strategies, manage timelines, map resource requirements, and ensure flawless execution of deployment plans
Act as the subject matter expert on deployed systems or software, identifying technical challenges or risks, and proactively proposing resilient solutions or workarounds
Assist end-users in understanding and utilizing deployed systems, deliver training sessions to familiarize users with new functionalities, and address queries with timely resolutions
Create and maintain comprehensive deployment documentation (procedures, user guides, troubleshooting resources), prepare progress reports for stakeholders, and track deployment-related risks
Identify opportunities to optimize the deployment process, propose and implement process improvements or tools, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to deployment methodologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, combined with proven experience in deployment support, software implementation, or a similar role
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar providers) across core services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and secure deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Proficient in server provisioning, configuration management, troubleshooting, and virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM)
Deep knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnets, routing, load balancing, and firewalls in cloud environments
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security groups, and data protection
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, active listening capabilities, a highly organized and self-directed approach to problem-solving, and the ability to maintain accuracy and quality under tight schedules
Nice to have
High proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
Foundational understanding of Business Accounting (analyzing financial statements, invoice processing in accounts payable/receivable) and basics of Payroll Management
Ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of Viewpoint software products and remain an expert from both an internal and user perspective
Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers, handle sensitive records with discretion, and defuse challenging situations with professionalism and good judgment
