Job Description:

The Technology Solutions and Facility Services SME support the Resource Management and Support Operations Directorate (SQR) by ensuring technical capabilities (i.e., websites, tools, hardware, software, network, and systems) are established, acquired, and operational to meet outreach, collaboration, analysis, and messaging efforts. Additionally, this SME ensures all facilities are properly maintained and accredited to support the requirements of the workforce at multiple security levels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Track and prioritize all projects and tasks requested by the Technology Solutions & Facility Services Division to meet mission demands
  • Coordinate SQR Technical (SQRT) support to resolve or facilitate resolution of end user questions and issues by providing best practice solutions for desktop, network, hardware, and software technical problems to organization members across multiple networks (NIPR, SIPR, BICES, JWICS, NMIS, SPRG)
  • Plan and manage SQRT preventative maintenance duties on technology related equipment and facilities to assure superior/trouble free functionality
  • Manage all Public, IntelShare and Air Force SharePoint Online sites at multiple security levels
  • Improve site design and functionality as more Microsoft features are rolled out
  • Collaborate with internal and external information technology service providers to perform problem analysis and achieve resolution of problems in a timely manner, and when appropriate and required escalate to appropriate personnel to assist in resolution
  • Gather organizational requirements and define solutions using tools available on the appropriate network
  • Design processes and translate them into custom, automated workflows
  • Train subsite admins to perform access control duties as well as other management features as needed
  • Write documentation for all SQRT policies and processes as well as solutions
  • Develop new features for Personnel database
  • Work with Government Facility Managers to capture and track facility requirements and coordinate efforts of the Facility Team
  • Provide assistance and support to maintain and execute facility agreements to ensure organizational compliance with required standards

Requirements:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Previous Client Service Technician or Designated IT Representative experience
  • SharePoint site access management and subsite creation experience
  • Background and training in the application of various knowledge management and collaborative tools including MS SharePoint and Power Platform solutions
  • Detail-oriented and motivated self-starter able to work independently to complete objectives
  • Excellent communication skills to work directly with military/government customers and contractors
  • Able to use problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues and manage complex projects, generate alternatives, if needed, and make recommendations
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and 2019 system experience
  • Microsoft M365 SharePoint Online system experience
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience
  • OneDrive for Business online system experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required over 20 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, SharePoint Administration, or Information Technology Services Support

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Defense Space and National Security Space in the areas of policy, strategy, requirements, capabilities, architectures, programs, acquisition, and operations
  • Familiarity with civil, commercial and international space capabilities
