Job Description

We are looking for a Technology Services Manager to lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, end-user technology, and service support operations for a manufacturing organization near Mankato, MN. This position will guide technical strategy, strengthen day-to-day IT performance, and drive technology initiatives that support business growth and operational reliability. The role also provides leadership to internal team members and external service partners while helping advance the company’s long-term technology capabilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct the performance, availability, and security of core infrastructure, business systems, productivity platforms, and service desk operations
  • Lead technology projects from planning through execution, serving as either the primary project manager or a key contributor on cross-functional initiatives
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to assess future technology needs and implement practical strategies that improve organizational maturity
  • Oversee cybersecurity practices, monitoring tools, and risk controls to protect company systems, data, and user environments
  • Supervise, coach, and develop technical staff while managing the work and expectations of third-party service providers
  • Establish priorities for infrastructure and support activities, balancing daily operational needs with strategic improvement efforts
  • Coordinate deployment and administration of enterprise tools such as cloud services, collaboration platforms, network technologies, and endpoint environments
  • Communicate technical plans, progress, and issues clearly to both technical teams and non-technical business leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related discipline
  • equivalent relevant experience may be considered
  • At least 10 years of experience in information technology or a comparable business environment
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role involving planning, budgeting, staffing, and team direction
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of infrastructure and enterprise technologies, including Cisco environments, Microsoft Azure, Freshservice, Office 365, Active Directory, and service desk operations
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, including monitoring, protection, and incident-response support within enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, with familiarity in Agile or similar delivery frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to audiences with varying technical backgrounds
  • Strong organizational judgment, problem-solving ability, and capacity to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
