This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technology Management Office and play a key role in ensuring our global technology suppliers deliver outstanding service, value and innovation across a complex multi-million pound portfolio. As Contract & Relationship Manager, you’ll lead the commercial management of a diverse range of IT suppliers spanning software, hardware and technology services. Acting as the primary relationship owner and escalation point, you’ll ensure suppliers meet contractual commitments, deliver against SLAs and continuously improve service performance.
Job Responsibility:
Managing strategic relationships with global IT vendors and service providers
Leading supplier governance activities including monthly service reviews, quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions
Monitoring supplier performance against contractual obligations, SLAs and KPIs
Driving service improvement initiatives and resolving supplier-related issues
Negotiating contract schedules and commercial terms alongside Procurement and Legal teams
Tracking supplier spend, validating invoices and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and supplier consolidation
Producing insightful reporting for senior leadership on supplier performance, compliance and commercial risk
Maintaining accurate contract records and ensuring alignment with governance stan
Requirements:
Significant experience in IT contract and supplier management
Proven track record of successful negotiation and cost reduction
Strong financial and commercial management capability
Experience managing SLAs, supplier performance metrics and contractual obligations
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
