Job Responsibility:

  • Support development of standardized risk and controls reporting, and improvement of risk identification to ensure sound, reliable, and consistent information exists across the organization, enabling better management and decision-making in line with the expectations of senior management, Board, and Regulators
  • Partner with business units to implement effective risk mitigation strategies and internal controls, proactively supporting cross franchise matters spanning across multiple Technology groups
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), control metrics, and incidents to provide insights into the technology risk posture. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive corrective action plans to address identified control gaps or failures
  • Help drive and manage controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk
  • Coordinating Internal and External Audits including assistance with evidence collection, walkthroughs, and control gap analysis
  • Coordinating regulatory gap analysis and remediation activity
  • Track regulatory developments (e.g., GDPR, DORA, EU Artificial Intelligence Act) and advise on impacts to IT risk policies and procedures
  • Assist in the execution of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence with Risk Management and Compliance Policies
  • Assist in the execution of the MCA in accordance with the ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures
  • Help assess activities and processes as per required Policies, Standards and Procedures to strengthen risk management quality
  • Participate in issue quality reviews ensuring compliance with Issue Management Policy, Standards and Procedures
  • Preparation of meeting materials for various technology governance committees
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry
  • Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls
  • Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls
  • Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry
  • Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes
  • Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices. Experience of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) preferred
  • Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
